SCHOUTEN ISLAND
(Beginner / Expert)
15m -> 50m
Schouten Island is a large island, about half the size of Maria, that sits on the southern tip of the world renowned Freycinet Peninsular. Home to some of the most unique and exciting dive locations in Tasmania, its distance from shore has kept a lot of these locations untouched and undiscovered from the local diving fraternity.
Locations such as Trumpeter Bay's Giant Kelp Forest; Home to resident Stingrays, Abalone, Southern Rock Lobster, and a variety of fish life, this thick and healthy kelp forest sets the perfect scene for diving in Tasmania. Other locations include giant offshore granite boulders, 55m deep walls and reef to 70m for more advanced technical diving.

We believe our customers deserve the most comfortable and safest dive charter we can provide. By offering guided dives, a trained and experienced Dive Master (DM) will be present for those wishing to have the benefit of diving with a dive professional. This is a great opportunity for divers with less experience to explore new and exciting dive locations. If you are comfortable diving without a DM, we are more than happy for you to dive your own profile.
