Our exclusive day tour "One Day On Maria" incorporates a relaxing 3 hr morning boat cruise exploring a choice of two majestic destinations around Maria Island. Groups can choose from either the Fur Seal Discovery Tour or the Mistaken Cape Cruise. During the cruise you will learn about the history and heritage associated with the Island, all while enjoying tea and coffee and a large platter of gourmet local cheeses, dips, pate, fruit and chocolate.

At the completion of the boat cruise, we return you to the convict settlement Darlington on Maria Island. Here you will receive a complimentary lunch pack (salad wrap, Tasmanian fudge and a cold drink), complimentary calico carry bag, National Parks pass, walking guides and fold-out map. From here you can explore some of Maria's wonderful short walks, immerse yourself into the convict history that surrounds Darlington, engage Maria Island's friendly and unique wildlife or simply lie back on the silky white sand of a secluded beach and enjoy the sun for the remainder of the afternoon.

As we are also a registered SCUBA diving facility, you may like to hire a mask and snorkel and explore the Marine Reserve that's located right in front of Darlington. This unique environment is home to the biggest Lobster (12lb) and Abalone you will see in the world, and in only 2m of water, it is perfect for snorkelers of all ages!
